Light Hotel - Sofia

Rooms were basic but comfortable, offering everything needed for a business trip. The cleanliness stood out, which makes a big difference. Staff were friendly enough, though I encountered a less cute reception at check-in. Wi-Fi worked great and the location was quiet, yet conveniently close to public transport. Breakfast had a decent selection, although options were repetitive each day. The room did have some temperature control issues, a bit uncomfortable at times. I appreciated the free mini-fridge, but the TV could use a size upgrade. Despite minor inconveniences, I'd return here without hesitation.

Staff was good & friendly, breakfast nice and reasonable, good location, Staff know how to treat guest and respect them. Lift was nice, Room was Comfortable; I have enjoyed. I will visit next time.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the shower design allowed water to flood the bathroom somewhat. It's a good choice for budget travelers looking for a comfortable base close to local attractions.

English breakfast with cheap food selection. Bright double room, exceptionally comfortable beds.

Good room, clean, comfortable and no problems with the ensuite. The staff were great,nothing was too much trouble the "porter" even helped change the flat tyre-thanks once again-on our car. Breakfast was typically Bulgarian with choices of cooked meats cheeses yoghurt and scrambled egg and sausages it was very good. Did not have the time to try the spa etc so no comment. The area is not modern, more left bank, but 10 mins walk from city centre.

No tea/coffee in room.

Room was clean, but the sauna access was quite limited.

Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help with queries, find out addresses of locations for us etc. Room clean. Close to city - easy walking distance. A really pleasant stay for a few days.

The room was rather hot - but so was the weather! Maybe the air conditioning could have worked better.Breakfast was adequate although the bread seemed to be stale.

Our room (mini suite) was really luxuruous and as we left really early the next morning, we got good breakfast packages to go.

The overfying aeroplanes kept my hubby awake too long...

I really enjoyed this property - nicely appointed and excellent value hotel.

Everything was really good, absolutely excellent staff, incredibly beautiful views on the snowy mountains. Twin/double room was fashionable and the food was outstanding! It had a very big bed and included a nice looking bathroom shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets. The location was exceptionally nice, for example, National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

The homemade breakfast options were delightful, and the friendly staff went out of their way to accommodate a couple of room requests.

Good, quiet location close to the center and train/bus station. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.

Beds kind of sunken but were comfortable. Although relatively close to the center, not a lot of restaurants/pubs in the immediate vicinity. Renovations were ongoing at the time so there was no sit-down breakfast but they did give a packed breakfast with sandwich, drinks and snacks.

the hotel was close to the city centre and the staff were efficient and friendly. Nothing spectacular but suited us perfectly.

i really can't say i didn't like anything. The bed was a single, but i was on my own so no prb there. It was very warm in the room for some reason (no heating on that i could see) and it was too noisy to have windows open.
